What is Latina PAC?

Founded in 2004, LatinaPAC, is the first Latina-focused political action committee in the New York metro area.

The vision of Latina PAC is to put forth a political agenda from the standpoint of Latinas and endorse candidates that will affirmatively champion our goals of empowering Latinas, and changing poverty, healthcare and education issues that have a disproportionate affect on Latinas in New York.

LPAC wants …

To ensure that elected officials, candidates, and society at-large have an accurate understanding of the concerns and priorities among Latinas.

To support and/or endorse candidates for national, state, and local office who are committed to improving the quality of life for Latinas.

To hold accountable the leadership that sets policy and makes decisions on issues that impact Latinas.

To serve as a forum for exchange of experiences and knowledge that can be used to train and cultivate Latina leadership.

The organization facilitates political education events, lobbying Government, political trainings, networking opportunities and participates in political campaigns to accomplish its goals.
